A little bio about me:

I was born in a little shantytown right outside Philadelphia and lived there in a humble shack for a few years before moving to Hollywood, Florida. Then, after a few tumultuous years in Florida, we moved back to Pennsylvania when I was the tender age of 4. I lived right near all of my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents, and it was, at the time, a nice growing experience for me.

At the age of 6, my mother excited me by announcing a new baby was on the way. I, of course, being a girl, fully expected a baby sister. There was not a doubt in my mind and I found myself preparing activities and such to pass onto to my future sister. Of course, as life often does, things didn't turn out as expected and I got a baby brother: Nicholas. And, as luck would have it, I found myself not hating him. Now, 10 years later, he and I are like two peas in a pod and I value his friendship, his support, and his love.

My family moved back to Florida when I was 7 and have lived here ever since in an area I try to pretend isn't swarming with seniors waiting to kick. Nursing homes, funeral parlors, doctors...all are in steep supply. And, we live up to our reputation. The South is notoriously known as the Bible Belt of the United States and yes, there is just about every kind of church you can imagine on just about every block.

As my senior year fast approaches, I'm preparing myself for what lies ahead. For some odd reason, I've always been in love with Maine and therefore, have decided to go to the University of Southern Maine with campuses in both Gorham and Portland.
